Liliana is a proud Venezuelan with European roots. She holds a BA in journalism and Spanish from the University of Houston and is currently working on a Masters degree in Counseling from the University of Saint Thomas. She is a strong advocate for immigrant children and their families and believes in the power of narrative therapy and story-telling. She currently works as a bilingual teacher in Houston, Texas and hopes to work as a therapist for the city's diverse population. When she is not studying or teaching her third graders, she enjoys reading, writing in her journal and hiking with her husband, Farley and their bulldog, Benjamin.
